Akio Sobue now racing with Blue Power!

The Blue Power was already successful with Akio at the IFMAR ISTC WC in China towards the end of 2016. Now it is finally official. One of Japan’s racing scene greatest is the latest LRP team member.

Who is even only a little bit familiar with the RC scene will have already heard the name of Akio Sobue. This is because the young driver from the Japanese city of Nagoya is racing around the globe and was able to secure a number of great results. Lastly, this happened at the IFMAR ISTC WC in Beijing, where he finished 3rd in 1:12 and 6th in 1:10 TC with the Blue Power electronics package (Flow speedo, Vector X20 motor, CCL battery).

LRP is extremely proud that Akio Sobue now decided to join the LRP WorksTeam long-term. The 22 year old Japanese top driver will from now on race his new car (so far TRF Tamiya) exclusively with the Blue Power over the race tracks in Asia, Europe and America. The chosen components will be Flow X TC spec speed control, LiPo Competition Car Line batteries, Vector X20 BL motors, various charging technology and accessories. LRP wishes Akio lots of success in the coming years with the Blue Power.
