Davide Ongaro extends with LRP!

Italian top driver Davide Ongaro will continue to race with LRP products. He will equip his AE cars in the OR8 and OR8e classes with the Blue power. According to Davide, the best that is currently available.

Davide has developed from a talented newcomer into a constant in the international 1:8 Offroad racing scene. This doesn’t only show at the many national and European races. Also at the IFMAR OR8 World Championship, he put himself perfectly into the limelight. Until shortly before the end of the race, he was in second place and locked into a thrilling fight with the first place driver David Ronnefalk … until the vacuum hose came off the pipe. An unscheduled visit to the pit was necessary and relegated him to 6th in the end.

LRP is very pleased that Davide has again chosen the Blue power. In all of his OR8 races, he will rely on the LRP Nitro power. His AE RC8B3 will be equipped with the ZZ.21C Ceramic Longstroke engine (#32122), Screamer-93 pipe (#36255), the WorksTeam Glow plugs and additional Nitro accessories.
When the AE RC8B3e will be on the track, it will be powered by the iX8 V2 speed control, the Dynamic8 motor and the brand new LiPo Competition Car Line batteries amongst others.

Besides the extensive technology package, Davide and his father Mauro are also receiving comprehensive support from LRP to be able to meet their goals in the future. Davide had the following to say after the contract extension with LRP:
