Jan Ratheisky secures overall victory at ETS!
Even without being able to participate in round 5 at Luxemburg, LRP team driver Jan Ratheisky still had all reason to celebrate. Due to the Pro Stock and Formula results at the penultimate round, there isn’t even a theoretical chance left, that Jan will be denied his triumph. With near perfect driving throughout the first four ETS legs, he laid the groundwork with his LRP powered Xray Pro Stock and Formula cars for this great success.
Of course, there still was some racing going on for the LRP factory team. In Modified, Ronald Völker was trying to keep his hopes of the title defence alive. Unfortunately, after taking the TQ, he was hit by lots of bad luck in A-Main 1 and A-Main 2 and consequently lost any chance at defending his title for a sixth consecutive time. Instead, Portuguese rising star Bruno Coelho seems to be in the driver seat for the series victory. Round four was won by 2012 World Champion Jilles Groskamp ahead of Marc Rheinard who kept his hopes alive to win the series, and Bruno Coelho. LRP team drivers Ronald Völker and Freddy Südhoff finished on 4th and 5th.
In Pro Stock, fellow LRP team drivers Lars Hoppe and Olivier Bultynck were able to impress in Jan’s absence. Lars was able to win round four with an ideal 2 pts ahead of Olivier and Christian Donath on third. Exactly half of all A-Main drivers did rely on the power of the LRP Competition Car Line Stock Spec batteries.
Having finished second in Pro Stock, LRP team driver Olivier Bultynck also had to settle for second place in Formula - this time behind David Ehrbar, but ahead of Jacques Libar. Fellow LRP team drivers Mike Gosvig and Jitse Miedema came in fourth and fifth.
Congratulations Jan, for securing 2 of 3 ETS racing classes prematurely!
