After an intensive development and testing phase - the VTEC 1/8 Buggy Closed Cell Tire Inserts are out now!

This is a product category for which LRP is not known today. Some might remember that years ago we had our very succesful range of 1/8 Buggy and Truggy tires with striking names (Kamikaze, Harakiri, …).

From these days we have excellent vendor relationships and together with the help of the Kilic family, we have intensively tested insert materials and shapes and are excited to release our new 1/8 Buggy Tire Inserts.

What are the advantages of our VTEC 1/8 Buggy Closed Cell Tire Inserts?

- Highest consistency in material and size

- Our insert material is slightly harder on the inside than on the outside and therefore provides better traction and sidebite

-> Results in consistency over long distances with minimised degradation.

Our Tire Inserts have already been successfully used by the Kilic Brothers to win the 1/8 E-Buggy German Nationals 2024 and to achieve a podium finish at the prestige Buggyland Race in 2023.
